"Had dinner at Mollagaa Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur during my visit to Malaysia, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The meals were good and well prepared, with authentic flavors. The chicken fry stood out crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and very tasty. The service was good, with attentive and friendly staff who made the dining experience pleasant. The ambience was excellent, creating a comfortable and relaxed setting for dinner. Overall, a great place for quality food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in Kuala Lumpur."

"Come here for lunch, order garlic cheese naan, chicken, cauliflower and panipuri. Portion is just nice for 2 of us. The spiciness is mid for me. Foods are delicious here, air conditioning restaurants. Quite crowded during lunch peak hour but the serving is fast."

"This was our third visit to Mollagaa Restaurant with the family, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots in town. If you are looking for authentic taste and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it. The highlight for us is always the Vegetarian Banana Leaf Rice. It’s consistently fresh and flavorful. My kids, in particular, are huge fans! Their absolute favorite is the combination of the Podi and Ghee mixed with rice—it’s a simple, nostalgic comfort food that Mollagaa executes perfectly. The staff is always accommodating to families, and the quality of the food has remained top-notch across all our visits. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for a hearty, traditional meal."

"Had a visit to Mollagaa Restaurant recently and overall it was a satisfying experience. Pros: Service was efficient and well-coordinated. Despite the crowd, the staff managed orders smoothly and food arrived with a swift turnaround time. As the name suggests, the dishes truly live up to their reputation — expect bold flavours and genuinely spicy options for those who enjoy heat. There’s also a good variety on the menu, catering especially to spice lovers. Cons: Be prepared for a long queue during lunch hours, which seems to be peak time. Also, the menu is accessible only via QR code on your phone. While digital ordering is convenient for some, it may not be ideal for everyone who prefers a physical menu as you may want to decide collectively before placing orders. It is located on 1st floor with rather narrow steps - which may be a slight challenge for elder or disabled. Would be good for a ground floor expansion as a future extension. Overall, a good spot for spicy food enthusiasts — just try to avoid the lunch rush if you’re in a hurry."

"I’ve been coming here a few times over the past year and it’s always been great. Food is tasty, portions are just right, and the naan is spot on – not soggy, not dry. Only thing is, the food can be a bit spicy, which might be tricky for kids. If that’s an issue, Betel Leaf around the corner is another really good Indian spot in the Masjid Jamek area."

"We had a great lunch here. Great value and you can try so many things with the banana leaf special. I love spicy food so I thought my curry was great. If you don't like spicy food maybe don't go to the restaurant with the giant chili on the sign."

"This is an authentic Indian Restaurant serving meals/ cuisine predominantly from the south of India. I had the bandleader veg meal with banana leaf fish and masala tea. The meal was nice, however all the curries - Sambar, rasam etc were cold. I would have preferred them all including the rice to the really steaming hot, the way they serve in India. The banana leaf fish was really tasty and went well with the steam rice. They have a really elaborate menu and I would definitely b back for their biryani, chicken lollipop, mutton dishes, falooda and a lot more."
